| Background: | The company was formed in 2004 and has been a supporter of the region and its manufacturing base since its inception. The company has quickly become recognised a market leader in product development and design to manufacture. Using 25 years of experience, a straight forward approach from C2M often sees immediate solutions to technical and practical problems. We work in many sectors and specialise in the development of products that can be manufactured cost effectively here in the UK. As members of the FSB, we work closely with small business, innovators and entrepreneurs. We work closely with the tooling companies to get the best tools to produce the components through our membership of the GTMA. The company has supported over 100 new start ups in four years and has seen its reputation judged by the success of the clients we work with. |
| Service Offering: | Our services are wide and varied although we specialise in product development, we also cover the following:- design for manufacture, jigs and fixtures, business start up, IP advice and guidance, web development and access to funding. We have a team of designers who are qualified mechanical engineers who develop concepts using first principles to ensure the conceived product is a first rate design. We have extensive experience of the regional funding ladder and can often find a route through the system to put you the client in touch with the right funding option. |
| Attitude and Philosophy about Staffing and Training: | C2M is committed to ensure its staff achieve all that they can be, the company is a big believer in apprenticeships and the new Diploma's. We are keen to see each member of staff achieve a Masters Degree in a subject that will benefit not only themselves but the company as a whole.
